Bimbo Bakeries USA operates 55 bakeries, employs more than 20,000 associates and distributes products through 12,000+ sales routes throughout the United States.

Little Bites® Snacks launches Little Bites® Biggie Muffins for teen and young adult consumers.

Little Bites® Snacks introduced lower sugar varieties: Little Bites® Lower Sugar Apple Cinnamon Muffins and Little Bites® Lower Sugar Chocolate Muffins.

Sara Lee® Artesano® expanded their portfolio with the launch of Hawaiian Bakery Bread and Buns.

Arnold® Organics Bread launched North America’s first bread bag that uses 30% post-consumer recycled content.

Thomas'® launched Croissant Bread, a delicious twist on an iconic breakfast favorite.

Arnold®, Brownberry® and Oroweat® introduced their line of Keto Bread, Buns and Sandwich Thins.

Ball Park® Buns launched Everything Hamburger Buns.

Grupo Bimbo acquired Lender's Bagels expanding Bimbo Bakery USA's refrigerated breakfast portfolio.

Bimbo Bakeries USA announced all packaging would be sustainable by 2025 announcing a partnership with international recycling leader TerraCycle® to make all bread, bun, bagel and English muffin plastic bag packaging nationally recyclable.

Bimbo Bakeries USA makes MLS history when the Artesano Bakery Bread logo is unveiled on the Away Jersey for the Philadelphia Union. Using two logos is the first of its kind for any MLS sponsor and club.

Arnold®, Brownberry® and Oroweat® Bread nationally launched its organic bread line.

Grupo Bimbo signs a virtual power purchase agreement. The wind power produced by Invenergy's Santa Rita East wind farm produces enough power to offset 100% of Bimbo Bakeries USA's operations.

Grupo Bimbo acquired Bays English Muffins, which are distributed on refrigerated trucks within 24 hours of baking and sold in refrigerator cases of grocery stores.

Sara Lee Artesano™ Bread launched. Today there is a Artesano™ Brioche Bakery Bread, Artesano™ Potato Bread and Artesano™ Golden Wheat Bakery Bread along with a variety of buns and rolls.

Thomas' Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Bread was introduced. Today you can find Thomas' Swirl Bread in several varieties including Banana Bread and a seasonal favorite, Pumpkin Spice.

Bimbo became the official Jersey Sponsor of the Philadelphia Union Major League Soccer team.

Grupo Bimbo completed the acquisition of Sara Lee's North American Fresh Bakery business, doubling the size of Bimbo Bakeries USA and expanding its footprint across the entire country.

Grupo Bimbo purchased the remaining U.S. fresh baked goods business of George Weston Ltd., adding Arnold®, Brownberry®, Freihofer's® and Stroehmann® brands.

Arnold, Brownberry and Oroweat launched Sandwich Thins® Rolls - the first sandwich thin in the industry!

Grupo Bimbo acquired the Western U.S. baking business of George Weston Ltd., adding iconic brands like Oroweat®, Entenmann's®, Thomas'® and Boboli.

Entenmann's Little Bites® were invented. First flavors included Little Bites® Blueberry Muffins, Little Bites® Fudge Brownies and Little Bites® Chocolate Chip Muffins, which are still among our most popular varieties. Entenmann's Little Bites® are the #1 mini muffin in the United States.

The company grew its North American operations when Grupo Bimbo purchased Mrs Baird's Bakery in Texas. The combined operations were renamed Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU).

Grupo Bimbo purchased La Hacienda, a California based tortilla company.
