Bimbo Bakeries USA’s Kathy Sargent, Vice President Baking Technology and Commercialization, has been appointed to the American Society of Baking (ASB)’s executive board. She will serve as third vice chair for the 2025-2026 term, followed by second vice chair from 2026-2027, and will transition to chair for the 2027-2028 term.

ASB is a national organization for professionals in the commercial baking industry that focuses on advancing the industry through education, networking and professional development opportunities.

Kathy’s prior experience with ASB includes serving as a three-year member on their board of directors, two years on the organization’s programming committee for baking technology and two years on the nomination committee.
