Our beginnings took shape in 1940 in a brick oven at the rear of a small house in Stamford, Connecticut. Here Dean and Betty Arnold baked the first two-dozen loaves of Arnold bread. In the sixties, they built a bakery in Greenwich, Connecticut, with the largest brick oven anywhere. In 1971, Dean Arnold retired, but his famous recipes for premium bread live on. For years, we have put our heart and soul into baking bread for our customers. It's all we do! 

Today, Arnold is the leading brand of bread, buns and rolls where it is sold, generally in the Eastern United States.
