History
Oroweat is a quality brand with long-standing heritage and tradition. Founded in 1932 in North Hollywood, the brand was created with the vision of providing consumers with premium bread — still the cornerstone of all Oroweat products. The bakery's trademark of using whole grains in their bread came about during the Great Depression, when ingredients were scarce and expensive.
